Our knives are made to be used, carried, and relied on. If something goes wrong under normal use, we’ll take care of it.
Every knife is covered by our limited lifetime warranty. If a defect shows up in the materials or craftsmanship, we’ll repair or replace it.
This doesn’t cover things like abuse, misuse, rust, or third-party mods. But if it’s on us, we’ll make it right.

Our team will check everything and let you know if your claim is covered. Please don’t ship anything until it’s approved.
If approved, we’ll send you instructions and a shipping address. You cover the cost of sending it in.
Once we receive your knife, we’ll take a closer look. If we have any questions, we’ll reach out.
We’ll repair or replace it and send it back your way, on us.
Not covered
- Missing screws, washers, or hardware due to normal wear (unless defective)
- Cosmetic damage: scratches, dents, faded ano, or wear to coatings
- Damage from third-party parts or accessories that don’t meet MW specs
- Using your knife as a screwdriver, pry bar, chisel, punch, etc.
- Any work or upgrades done by someone outside MachineWise
- Cosmetic mods like anodizing, blasting, polishing, or other surface treatments
- Hardware, blades, or parts swapped by anyone not on our team
- Damage from disassembly, accidents, neglect, or treating it like it’s indestructible
- Requests for retrofitting or upgrades just because a new version came out
Bottom line:
Warranty covers defects, not experiments. If you’ve modded the knife or used it like a demolition tool, it’s probably not covered.
