Shipping Policy

Orders & Fulfillment

We ship all in stock items within 7 business days of purchase. Custom orders follow the lead time shown on the product page. That is your reference. Please wait until the quoted time passes before checking in.

Shipping Carriers

We ship using USPS, FedEx, or DHL depending on the destination and order type. At this time, we do not support carrier selection during checkout.

Heads up: USPS includes up to 100 dollars in insurance, but FedEx and DHL do not cover knives. Pens and trainers may be eligible for carrier insurance. It varies.

Shipping Insurance

We do not currently offer optional insurance during checkout. For high value or one off pieces, we may cover replacements internally if there is a confirmed loss. If you want to request this option in advance, contact us before placing your order.

Tracking and Notifications

All orders include tracking numbers by default. You will get an email with your tracking link as soon as your shipping label is created.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Please double check your address before placing your order. If you need to make a change, email us immediately at admin@machinewise.com. We can update your shipping info anytime before the label is printed. After that, we cannot make changes or reroute the package.

Lost or Delayed Packages

We are not responsible for carrier delays once a package is in transit. If your order is stuck, here is how we handle it:
  • Domestic: Considered lost after 30 days in transit
  • International: Considered lost after 60 days in transit
Please contact USPS or your local carrier first. Then email us with your case information. We handle these situations individually and usually try to make it right. However, refunds and replacements are not guaranteed.

International Orders

We only ship live blades to countries where they are legal. You are responsible for knowing your local laws before placing an order.
  • International orders ship using DHL.
  • Customs declarations are product specific and follow industry labeling such as “Collectible Knives Balisongs” or “FidgetToy Trainer.”
  • Customs fees, taxes, and import duties are the customer’s responsibility.
  • We do not refund or replace packages that are seized by customs, lost in transit, or returned due to legal restrictions.
If a package is returned to us, we will reach out and attempt to reship it.

Local Pickup

We do not offer in store pickup at MachineWise or at Penchetta. Customers should not expect same day fulfillment or local access.

Packaging

All shipments use plain USPS or generic bubble mailers with no external branding. We include a packing slip inside but no external identifiers.
