MachineWise is happy to work on any of our products in circulation. Note we are a small team and as such Spa services can take some time. Please feel free to email admin@machinewize.com at anytime to get an update on the status of your service.
Free Spa Services
We reserve the right to refuse service on any model that falls out of our Warranty and Return policy.
Authentication - Free
Not sure if your knife is the real deal? We can take a look. Upon authentication, we can re-issue a QC card, box, and provide any available services if requested.
Repair/Tuning Quote - Free
Not sure what's going on with your knife? We'd be happy to take a look and give you a quote for repair. If the issue is caused by faulty workmanship or materials, then repair is free.Repair & Refurbishment
Replace Stripped Screws - $5
The indicated price is a service charge. An additional charge will be applied for the replacement hardware.
Sharpening - $10
Restore your blade to the factory edge (or as close as possible). Hand-sharpened. Note sharpening does remove material from the blade.
Cleaning - $5
We will thoroughly clean the knife by disassembling and going through each part. We may reach out if we believe any parts would benefit from replacement or refurbishment.
Retune - $10
The MachineWise team will use new bushings to retune a product using customer supplied components. Note, we reserve the right to deny this service and in the case of “un-tunable” components.
Configuration Swap - $30
The MachineWise team will use new bushings to reconfigure a product using customer supplied components. Note, we reserve the right to deny this service and in the case of “untunable” components.
Replacement Blades
Replacement blades are available in limited quantities. Please reach out if you are looking for a specific blade and we can let you know if we have it available.
BLADE REPLACEMENT INFO:
Our knives are hand-tuned, so you must send us your entire knife to receive a blade replacement. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this rule, even for our international customers.
A blade order must be placed with us before sending us your knife by email. See individual items on our price list for current part order lead times. IMPORTANT: Please do not send us your knife until you have been notified that a blade is complete and ready for installation.
