DESCRIPTION:

The Tottori is our first sandwich construction balisong. The project stemmed from a desire to do something a little different for MachineWise. The Tottori is our entry into the "standard" balisong world. The Tottori retains the machining quality, attention to detail and tuning that you have grown to expect from MachineWise but delivers it in a shorter overall package. Named for a small patch of sand dunes in Japan the texture of the Tottori provides ample grip while not being intrusive during flipping. Each Tottori ships with (2) sets of spacer weights to adjust its flipping traits to your preference. In the future we hope to offer spacers in many different materials for finer tuning.

Great balisong!

It's a great balisong. It flips and sounds really nice. Its on the shorter side, especially compared to my slift and even my kraken. The shorter length does make it more nimble. Its a light and fast flipper. the texture provides plenty of grip. machinewise did a great job with the tottori.

Feels like it was made for my hands!

I have the Tottori with trainer blade and it is the best bali trainer I've handled. Tune is perfect, balance is nice, and the grip feels great in my hand. Rollovers, fans and chaplins like butter. I like the slightly smaller size and the weight feels just right with the light weights.

I want to reiterate that this is my favorite balisong/balisong trainer that being said my only nitpick is that while I did get a blemished trainer the bushings were a little beat up maybe from tuning? While it feels perfect -when looking at where the training blade between the channels closed it looks slightly off center.

TLDR- I liked it so much I picked up a titanium Sasori live blade the next drop I could

Best Bali

Ive always dreamed of owning a machinewise product and I decided to invest in the tottori with everything I had left. It was the best decision ever, this balisong is the best hands down I haven’t tried too many however the tottori made every other bali boring not just is the most consistent and well balanced balisong but it just does whatever you want it to do. And the texturing is just unmatched it’s the grippiest Bali and yet the most comfortable out of them all I rarely drop it because it’s that good and oh man it’s beautiful best looking by far it’s just wow. It also sounds great it’s definitely on the quieter side but that isn’t a bad thing. 10/10 would recommend. Now that I have a tottori I can’t wait to get my hands on a serif maybe one day in the future. Also the zippy extensions and inserts are absolutely worth it. Great job machinewise I hope I can buy again from you in the future much love
